Double Paddle Mixers
Paul O. Abbe® has been designing and manufacturing Double Paddle Mixers since 1990.
Double Paddle Mixers are used for blending free flowing solids up to 70 pounds per cubic foot (1.12 g.cc) depending on solids characteristics including characteristics, particle size, size distribution and particle shape (morphology), cohesion and moisture level.
The Double Paddle Mixers can blend solid in less than 20 seconds because the large twin paddle design lifts and fluidized solids opening the space between particle and allowing them to interchange position as opposed to being constrained by adjacent particles.
Double Paddle Mixers are used for all dry foods products, nutraceuticals, protein powder mixes, dry juice mixes, chemicals, fertilizer, insecticides, colorants, resins and polymers.
Double Paddle Mixers have working capacities from 1 to 300 cubic feet.
The standard design of the Double Paddle Mixers include all 304 stainless steel polished to 180 grit finish internally and glass bead blasted outside, hollow-bore gear drive, bomb-bay discharge and PTFE packing glands.
Double Paddle Mixers can be supplied with optional highspeed chopper, MECO shaft seals, customer designed covers, heating jackets and complete controls.
